Recycling bins are located in the lot between the Preferred Pump/Johnson's Storage Buildings and Beimert Outdoors/U-Haul on Alfalfa Lane SW. Another one is in the City of Pillager by the water tower. The bins are labeled as to what you can put in them.

Yes, hunting is allowed in 3 areas in Sylvan Township. We allow hunting at Sylvan Park (12271 LOWER SYLVAN RD), the Kramer Lake parcels (off the south end of Co. 36), and on both Potlatch parcels (off the south east corner of Co. 36). You will see signs in the road right-away ditch area for these parcels. Please review the Sylvan Deer Stand Policy

After paperwork is filled out, you can mail it in or drop it off at Sylvan Town Hall. If after business hours, there is a secure drop box outside the North door.
Yes, we require you to obtain a driveway permit and there is a cost associated with them. After the permit is submitted a Road Supervisor will come out to see if a culvert is needed prior to the driveway construction. For more information please call the town hall at (218) 746-3652.
